Congratulations to Delmo Payne, formerly with River Birch Homes, for being chosen by the AMHA membership as the 2016 AMHA Person of the Year! The award was presented during the 2016 Multi-State Convention at Perdido Beach Resort.
Mr. Payne has been in the manufactured housing industry for 34 years and began River Birch Homes in Hackelberg in 1997. He retired in 2016, after being directly or indirectly responsible for over $600 million worth of new homes. He previously served on the AMHA Board of Directors during the early 1990s and was inducted into the Alabama Manufactured Housing Industry Hall of Fame in 2004.
