Alabama Housing Foundation

The Alabama Housing Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to improve the quality of life for manufactured and modular homeowners by assisting in providing solutions to the needs of individuals or families due to limited resources, health, natural disasters or emergency situations.

Each applicant must meet certain eligibility requirements, including income verification and ownership of their manufactured/modular home.

The Foundation is creating a positive image for the manufactured/modular housing industry as an industry interested in giving back to the community. The Foundation works with the social workers and other agencies and non-profit organizations that assist families seeking help. All donations are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation is governed by a separate board of directors who volunteer their time and resources. The Foundation is, as its logo indicates, “The Heart of the Manufactured/Modular Housing Industry”.
