The 2015 class of the AL Manufactured Housing Industry Hall of Fame will consist of Rickie Romine and Wayne Sims! Rickie Romine has been in the manufactured housing industry for over thirty (30) years starting with Guerdon Industries in Alexander City in 1972 and continued as a Purchasing specialist for Cavalier homes until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Romine returned to Cavalier Homes as a consultant from 1997 until 2007.
Wayne Sims has been in the Manufactured housing industry for over twenty-five (25) years, starting with Frontier Homes in 1971, continuing through his retirement in 1999. Throughout his career, Mr. Sims was a salesman for Frontier Homes, Regional Manager of Retail Sales for Indon Industries, owner of Paradise Homes in Bessemer, AL, Sales Manager for River Oaks Homes, and General Manager of the Life Style Homes and Hospitality Homes Divisions of Southern Energy.
Both of these gentlemen have been standout contributors to the industry and are worthy of the honor of Alabama Manufactured Housing Industry Hall of Fame inductees. Congratulations Mr. Romine and Mr. Sims!
The Hall of Fame will be held on Wednesday, February 17th at Bevill State Community College in Hamilton, AL at 2:00 PM! We hope to see you there!
