Racing fans enjoyed an exciting and impactful event at Talladega Superspeedway in April, where the Alabama Manufactured Housing Association served as the title sponsor of the Alabama Manufactured Housing 200, an ARCA Menards Series race.
The event marked a tremendous opportunity to showcase the manufactured housing industry on one of motorsports’ biggest stages, reaching thousands of race fans in attendance and hundreds of thousands more watching from home. The race weekend delivered outstanding visibility for manufactured housing while highlighting the innovation, quality, and value that today’s homes offer to families across Alabama and the nation.
AMHA extends its congratulations to race winner Andy Jankowiak for an impressive performance in the inaugural Alabama Manufactured Housing 200. The race brought exciting competition and national attention to both the ARCA Menards Series and the manufactured housing industry.
According to FS1, Saturday’s broadcast averaged 446,000 viewers, representing a remarkable 41% increase compared to last year’s race audience. This significant growth provided unparalleled exposure for AMHA and its members, helping introduce modern manufactured housing to a broader audience than ever before.
One of the highlights of the weekend was the interactive fan experience in the Fan Zone, where three manufactured homes were on display for racegoers to tour firsthand. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the advanced design, energy efficiency, craftsmanship, and modern features that define today’s manufactured homes. The displays helped challenge outdated perceptions and demonstrated how manufactured housing continues to evolve as an affordable, high-quality housing solution.
The success of the Alabama Manufactured Housing 200 represents more than just a race sponsorship; it reflects AMHA’s ongoing commitment to promoting the industry, supporting affordable housing solutions, and creating meaningful opportunities to connect with the public.
AMHA thanks Talladega Superspeedway, the ARCA Menards Series, participating manufacturers, industry partners, and all those who helped make the weekend such a success. The association looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to showcase the future of manufactured housing across Alabama and beyond.
