The Alabama Housing Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to improve the quality of life for manufactured/modular homeowners by assisting in providing solutions to the needs of individuals or families due to limited resources, health, natural disasters or emergency situations. The Foundation has replaced four (4) manufactured homes and assisted in several renovation projects. Each applicant must meet certain eligibility requirements to be approved including income verification and ownership of their present manufactured/modular home. The Foundation is creating a positive image for the manufactured/modular housing industry as an industry interested in giving to the community. The Foundation works with the American Red Cross, social workers and other agencies that assist families seeking help. All donations are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
